Check available datesIs the bathroom inside the cabin?
The private bathroom and laundry are in a separate wash house about two metres from the cabin, reached by a covered walkway. It is exclusively for MayneWave guests, and housecoats are provided.
Can I walk from the ferry?
Yes. Village Bay ferry terminal is roughly a 30-minute walk, much of it along the newer pedestrian and cycling path. Pickup and drop-off can also be arranged.
Do I need a car?
No. Miners Bay beach, the village, bakery, groceries and Government Dock are all within an easy walk. A car or bicycle is useful for exploring more of Mayne Island.
Is parking available?
Yes. Free parking is available beside the cabin.
Is the Wi-Fi suitable for remote work and streaming?
Yes. MayneWave has fast fibre internet suitable for video calls, remote work and streaming.
Are kayaks included?
Two kayaks and life jackets are available for guests. Use is weather-dependent, and guests should be comfortable assessing marine conditions.
How many guests can stay?
MayneWave is designed primarily for two guests and can accommodate up to three, with a queen bed and a hide-a-bed.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Arrival and departure details are confirmed with each reservation. Earlier arrival or later departure may sometimes be possible when the booking schedule allows.
